I am a proud mom, justice seeker and am involved in my community. I studied at UCLA, followed by a Master's degree in Physical Therapy at USC and became a Physical Therapist. After that successful career, and a time at home raising my son, I shifted focus to becoming a rabbi. I like to say I pivoted from physical healing to spiritual healing. I was ordained at AJR-CA and led a Reform congregation in Atascadero, CA. I retired from the pulpit in 2021, became a Rabbi Emerita and now spend my time officiating at weddings and continuing to teach Introduction to Judaism courses with the Maas Center, AJU in Los Angeles. For fun, I sing with the women's choral group, Canzona, with SLO Master Chorale and pursue my hobby as a fabric artist.
